fantastic season! im missing ice hockey already. penguins were fantastic and cant wait to see how they grow from the experience in the next season.

The NHL is always a fantastic season. Possibly 6 weeks too long though.

it feels weird watching ice hockey when its really nice weather... well okay not really nice because lets not forget its the uk, but nice for us (it has been lovely the last few days... fingers crossed it stays nice)

yeah, i hope it stays like this for the rest of the week at least.

As far as im concerned the NHL should be September to March/April like the rest of the worlds ice hockey leagues. Ice hockey in June is just potty!

June just isnt ice hockey season is it lol... its like take me out to the ball game, i want to be watching baseball at this time of year.

do you know why the season is the weird months? ive never known.

Id like to know that as well. Maybe its the NHL being deliberately awkward because they dont want any of their non american players being called up by their national teams for the annual world championships in May.

Yes, baseball is the sport for June, NASCAR and IndyCar racing too, but not ice hockey!
