Went to see 'The Orphanage' yesterday. Fantastic film, though i didn't think about halfway through that if it was an American film i don't think i would have liked it. Hmmm? Strange.

The cinema was packed, and i dont think all the people knew it was a subtitled film. Its not that i dont want to think the population of Newcastle dont watch subtitled films but two granger games toting charvers left halfway through shouting "See you later Bob!" as they did. DICKS!

Martin wanted to stand up before it started and announce to all the groups of teenagers that its a spanish film, i just laughed. Lots of old grannies there aswell though, evened it out a bit. I love it when a cinema is packed out, not a kids film though as much, but with a horror sorta film the tension builds in the room and when we jump, we all jump and then there's that nervous laughter afterwards, love it!

There's a bit in it (no spoilers) where theres a shot of a staircase haeading down into darkness and some old woman behind us went "oh no!" and there was moans in the audience, on sevral occasions when we knew something was going to happen.
Go see it... really its a great watch, dont wait for dvd for this one.
Oh and HMV have 'Superman Returns 2-Disc' DVD in for £3. Which is cheaper than the 1-Disc edition. Strangeness indeedy!
