This was the film that got me into horrors, a big fan of them like my daughter, which i am to blame. I think she watched 'Nightmare On Elm Street' when she was really young and its done her no harm. She's not aloud out through the day and she's locked up with chains... kidding! Does anyone remember 'People Under The Stairs', she watched that as well as a child. Bless. and 'Stephen King's It' she's never looked at clowns in the same way.
So anyway back to 'The Entity', i watched it when i was young teenager at a friends house and afterwards i had to walk home in the dark along a black path where there was lots of trees and bushes, scary indeed! The same thing happened after i first watched 'The Exorcist' at the same friends house.
'The Entity' felt like it could really happen and felt so real. When i got a vhs of it when my daughter was old enough to watch and the vhs never worked.
Eventually she went to bed tired of waiting for it to work. as soon as she left the room it worked, i told her the next morning that it worked fine again and so she sat down to watch it and it wouldn't work again with her there. she says it happened again at a sleep over with a different vhs when she was out the room at the bathroom it would work. Strange girl she is, but what do you expect she was born on 'Halloween'. Though it could be me, my other daughter was born of Friday the 13th.
