Title says it I guess...
So films that are a MUST for me at this Festive period are...
1. A Christmas Story
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085334
I had this on VHS as a child and then my mum got rid of it somewhere over the years (never will I forgive her) and now you can only buy it on Region 1... pah! So I will order it but it wont come till after Christmas anyways so guess I'll get it for next year.

2. Nightmare Before Christmas
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107688/
Yeah I like this film A LOT! I remember seeing it with my grandad when i was little at the Warner Brothers. Hmmm I miss that place.

3. Elf
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0319343/
Took my sister to see this at the Odeon or Empire... it switched names at some point... Love Will Ferrel and Zooey Deschanel being in it helped a lot too.

4. The Santa Claus Trilogy
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111070/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0304669/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0452681/

Tim Allen rules... simple! And bringing in Elizabeth Mitchell... well lets say there's one reason I took my sister to see it (she makes me see some films anyways, but I was willing with 'the escape clause') Some of you might know her better from Gia or Lost...

or the mud fight between her character Juliet and Kate in Lost...

5. Gremlins
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087363/
Now personally I like Gremlins 2 more but that's not Christmas-y now is it.

personally I like the evil gremlins better...

6. Home Alone
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099785/

oh I meant this one...

Can't beat the original in my opinion, and Catherine O'Hara

(seeing a similarity with 'nightmare before christmas'?) Plus I loved that in 'Dogma' (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120655/) Salma Hayek's Character 'Serendipity' mentions how someone sold there soul for 'Home Alone' to get made. ![]()
and dont forget Joe Pesci....LEGEND!

Plus I loved the game as a child too.

7. The Grinch and How The Grinch Stole Christmas
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0170016/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060345/

Love them both equally...
Jim Carrey is perfect in the re-make and Boris Karloff rules in the original.
8. Father Christmas
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0180691/

"Another bloomin' Christmas"
http://www.toonhound.com/father.htm
My sister nicked my VHS of this... but at least it's still around somewhere. I loved this sooo much and watched it on repeat as a child. I love when he goes to Las Vegas and camps in Scotland... in my opinion it's better than 'The Snowman'... plus you get to see Santa's bum... always made me laugh. ![]()
9. Jingle All The Way
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116705/

The MAD rush to get that ONE SPECIAL TOY.... I'm sure it's familiar...
10. League Of Gentlmen are Behind You
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0928145/
I know there was a Christmas Special but well I think the love show was better and I went to see it...

11. Friday After Next
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0293815/

Not so traditional I'll give you that... but Terry Crews is in it and I love that dude!

prejudice and watch it... and it was pants...) and the upcoming
) Godley's credits include Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Elizabeth: The Golden Age.
